LAN', SCHO BIZHYT' BRIDGE (RUNNING DEER BRIDGE)

40 years ago in Kamianets-Podilskyi, a third bridge was built across the Smotrych River, which was called to unload the city from the significantly increased traffic of transit vehicles. This bridge was immediately recognized as a record holder in several "nominations", and later it became one of the most interesting tourist attractions in the city. Moreover, it was recognized as one of the seven wonders of Kamianets-Podilskyi. The project jf the bridge was developed in 1965 by specialists of the world-famous Eugene Paton Institute of Electric Welding. For the first time in world practice, engineers decided to use bisteel beams, which allowed to make a strong bridge without any support. “Running Deer Bridge” is the highest bridge in Ukraine.
